Straddle in USD INR

Hi Friends,

  1. Can anyone please guide when it is best time to initiate a ATM or ITM short straddle on USD INR ? I am not talking about intraday. Rather i am intrested in Positional.

  2. One of my friend is earning 7-10% per month by Selling Slightly ITM Short straddle. What may be the catch here?
    When or which day of month such type of straddle can be initiated. What are the factors to be kept in mind?

  3. By which indicator we can judge trending or sideways move in USD INR?

  4. Is USD INR options Related to India VIX in any way?
