How about your experience on angelone for MTF?

Can you please let me know the effective %of interest on Daily basis?

I wonder why no one is talking about ICICI Direct. Their MTF is less than 10% on the prime plan.
Recently switched to ICICI as I was tired of waiting for Zerodha.

edit - their platform makes me cry though. I hope Zerodha launches MTF soon and at less than 12% including all brokerage, charges & taxes.

Rates are high, UI is good. I use it only for high probability short term entries. Otherwise I prefer Mstock.

can divide by 365 I guess

Here is the reason. Why pay upfront fee of 10k for 9.69 IR when brokers like mstock are giving 9.99 without any upfront fee.

I’m also using ICICI Direct also ,if you have any technical issuse you can call customer care for immediate assist. No free lunch thats the difference between discount brokers and full service brokers.

Depends on your PF size. 10K is a one time charge.

Example – If you take 1 Cr on margin from the broker, then the difference is 30K (9.69 vs 9.99).

I’ve read terrible things about mStock platform, so ICICI direct is a “safer” choice (for me).

Oh yeah this is true. 10/10 so far for their (ICICI) customer support.

The thing is I’ve not felt the need to use customer support in zerodha. I am happy with Kite & it keeps getting better (my opinion).

It’s sad that they’ve royally delayed the MTF launch though. People who have paid the 10K to ICICI, it creates a psychological barrier to switch back to zerodha.

I just hope that
(A) Zerodha mtf update is worth the wait &
(B) They keep the effective cost (all inclusive) at less than 12%.

Yeah for mtf book above 1 cr it makes sense to go with ICICI.

I am 99% sure rates wont go below 12% for zerodha mtf.

is in it wise decision to go long on futures for the f&o stocks instead of MTF? Any ways for most of the stocks the 3 month futures premium will be less dhan 2%?

Two problems I faced when going fut long instead of MTF:-

  1. You don’t have flexibility with trade size, you have to punch orders in multiples of fixed lot size.
  2. Insane MTM fluctuations will shake your conviction.

I tried hedging fut positions will options but again it’s hectic to handle when you want to open 10-15 leveraged positions in stocks. So It’s better to keep it simple with MTF.

How is angel one for MTF bro will they sent pledge confirmation properly, heared they are not responding to sent pledge confirmation mail.
And how they detuct the interest fees.

Just to make everyone aware that the govt is yet to bring interest payment under GST, so enjoy till than :grinning:

Also, I am using mstock from last 10 months and previously I was also not happy with the platform and customer support but I can tell you that they are continuously improving on both their platform and customer support.

I don’t feel any major gaps now, it’s manageable and the benefits of cost savings easily overshadow the cons.
