Ask for his study material slash knowledge source instead.

Knowing his timeframe will NOT have any material impact.

just asking, to be Realistic on Expectations

same here, bro, after loosing constant 2 years after 3rd year i got break trough on Cash swing only,

Thank you. This is why i asked to know how long does it takes and it worked out. Thanks for sharing

  • symmetrical triangle
  • channel pattern
  • wedge pattern

only This 3 type of pattern in Weekly & Monthly TF i trade. S&R touches should be more than 3… on patterns,

Hey, @MohammedFaisal Do we have any tentative timelines regarding these upcoming changes?

The market is not suitable for MTF. Wait for its right use in next rally which will only be followed by a time or price correction in mid and small caps.( Just a personal view)

Zerodha wil be close by then in launching🤓( On lighter note)

BTW Zerodha may launch beta first , then for only N50 stocks for now. Will be of very less useful on immediate basis. If anyone is in urgent need for MTF can switch to other brokers temporarily whom they feel are good in MTF.(I have no idea :pensive:).

Mstock is reducing its margin pledge interest rate from 11.99% to 9.99% w.e.f. 1 October 2024, and the said margin can be used for Intraday, Futures, Options Selling and MTF also.

It includes 700+ stocks and margin goes upto 80% of the stock value, so i think this will address your question, and help many other traders.

I must say that they know exactly what traders need, and their pricing plans are spot on.

You mean by pledging we receive collateral and that also can be used for MTF? can you clarify, please.

For example - you have 100 qty of Infosys with the current value of Rs 190,000. You can pledge these stocks and get a margin funding of Rs 152,000 (80% of 190,000).

Above, margin funding of Rs 152,000 can be used for creating MTF position.

So if you want to buy HDFC 500@1600 i.e. Rs 800,000 under MTF, the margin funding of which is 75% i.e. Rs 600,000, the net amount payable by you is Rs 200,000. You can utilize above Rs 152,000 against the net amount payable and only require to pay the remaining amount of Rs 48,000.

With this, your total portfolio value will be 190,000+800,000 = 990,000
Your total invested amount = 190,000 + 48,000 = 238,000
Your total utilized margin on which interest will be charged @9.99% = 152,000+600,000 = 752,000

The above rate of 9.99% will be 6.99% if your total margin utilized under MTF exceeds 5 crores :sunglasses: only for MTF interest rate not for margin pledge

I will be charged interest only on 6 lakhs right?

No, they are charging interest on margin pledge also i.e. 152,000 as well

This might look expensive to F&O traders who are getting 50% margin under margin pledge free of cost at other platforms, but for MTF traders this is good.

MTF essentially addresses the cons of both Futures and Equity delivery.

So as a suggestion, zerodha may want to think of allowing margins under margin pledge to be utilized for MTF, whenever they release the MTF functionality.
