The SIP leg of the STP did not trigger. I have sent DM to both @Neelesh and @Arjun_Oberoi . Can you please guide and help?

hi @abrahama we are checking this, should be done today.

Hi @Bimal_Nawalekha1991 , As discussed, due to a delay in the credit of units from the clearing corporation on 19th November 2024 in your demat account, units are not reflecting on Coin. The units will start reflecting on coin from tomorrow onwards by 9 AM. You will be able to create a STP in Tata Money Market Fund from tomorrow onwards.

Furthermore, joint account holders and non-individual account holders can enable DDPI offline. Kindly refer to this link for more details.

This is fixed, please check if the stp orders were triggered yesterday? The amount should be debited today eod.

@Neelesh @Arjun_Oberoi I dont think the issue has got sorted. I have sent a DM to both of you with details. An SWP (as part of STP) was triggered on 21 Nov and the amount has got credited to my account on 22 Nov. The STP should have got trigged atleast by today isnt it by 10 AM? Unfortunately, this has not happened and the sTP leg has still not got triggered. Can you please check your DM?

Hi checking this.

Hi ! I can send you screenshots in DM if that could give little more clarity to the issue

@Neelesh @Arjun_Oberoi Has there been any update? Unfortunately, the STP setup is stuck for me. Can I please understand the timeline in which the STP operates as per your design? This is what has happened for me. My login for Zerodha is in your DM

SWP triggered and executed Nov 21 (T-0 day)
Money credited to my bank account Nov 22 @ 10 AM (T+1 day)
SIP leg gets triggered on Nov 25 to be executed at 6 pm on (T+2 day) not considering saturday and sunday that came inbetween
The eMandate for the SIP has not yet got triggered as of today Nov 27 at 7:45 am (T+4 day) and my money is still in my bank account.

To be honest, before you brought this feature, I had setup SWP separately and SIP separately in coin web and had put the SWP exactly 2 days before my desired SIP date and the transaction was going on smoothly without any issues. I thought the new STP feature is a brilliant one and paused my setup and put a new STP and now am stuck. Maybe I will go back to my old setup and wait for you guys to iron out the issues to set this up correctly and then try at a later date.

A few days back, for another STP that never got triggered, I did a manual payment to finish the investment. After a few days, the STP got triggered, eMandate also kicked in and got rejected by the bank. Now the bank has sent an email to me that I have to pay the eMandate rejection penalty of 500 rs.

All in all, I think this feature is still getting hatched. Better to wait for few more days to get the issues thoroughly tested before using it full fledged.

Hi @abrahama , STP SIP leg was triggered on 25-11-2024. Since STP is linked to a NACH mandate, the funds debit for the STP buy leg will take place from your bank account today and orders will be processed. Additionally, to expedite the debit of funds for your STP buy leg, you can link the STP to a UPI mandate to schedule the debit of your scheduled STP SIP on the T+1 day from its triggered date. You can create UPI autopay on Coin web under the mandates tab.

Upcoming STP SWP & SIP leg will be triggered on the due date.

Hi ! @Deepak_Kumar_Singh @Neelesh @Arjun_Oberoi @bebhuvan Thanks for the reply and for the details. I did the eNACH mandate because my SIP for this STP setup is for Rs. 1,50,000 whereas the UPI autopay accepts a maximum of upto Rs. 1,00,000 only.

Actually the feature that has got introduced is excellent, but I feel this is still half cooked and needs refinement. Unfortunately, the customers are left to fend for themselves, with no clear guidance on how to use this new feature and the clear timelines (from the time the SWP is triggered till SIP is completed) within which this feature is supposed to work.

Knowing Zerodha and its meticulous attention for detail, I sincerely hope this STP feature gets nicely polished so that customers can use it with ease… I guess that day is still a little far away for this feature.

Hi @abrahama , As per our telephonic conversation, I hope your queries related to STP have been addressed. If you have any further queries, please let us know.

Hi Deepak, thank you for the phone call. I really appreciate the effort.

I sincerely wish someone in zerodha does a small writeup on the timelines for the STP (for eNACH and UPI mandate) for clarity of coin users to bring some clarity to the whole process.

Thank you once again.

There are a few enhancements we are working on the whole STP and mandate process.

  1. Shifting the eNACH module to a processing time frame of 1 day and not 2 days, this is WIP, so this T+2 day processing thing for eNACH should be resolved soon.
  2. CUrrenlty BSE is pushing the UTR and fund transfer details after 2 PM hence the debites for the ISP leg are being processed at the EOD mostly, we are checking with BSE/ ICCL on fixing this at there end.

I am glad that these are in your radar. Hope to have a much more refined product soon. That would be a delight.

I had an STP setup for 1st of every month. in my order book, I only see the SWP leg of STP executed. Also this amount hasnt reached the bank yet, When will the SIP part be executed. Can you please let me know the total time it would take once the STP is triggered. A detailed order flow with timelines would be helpful

Since 1st Dec falls on a Sunday (weekend), the order gets processed at BSE on 2nd Dec. The amount will be credited to the bank account as per the settlement day(s) of the fund.

Once we receive the payout details from the Exchange (currently on the next working day after the amount is credited), the SIP leg will be triggered accordingly, and the amount will be debited to process the buy order (T+1/T+2 for UPI Autopay / eNACH mandate, respectively).

We are working on a few enhancements, as mentioned earlier in this thread.
