I traded options today and I believe I lost money approx 4000 dealing with put options. Can somebody let me know if there are any reliable tools and learning platforms where I can learn how not to get in panicmode and make good trading decisions?

If you are new to trading why are you trading in options. Yes Options, if “DONE RIGHT” can get you a lot of Money. If not they are Weapons of Financial Destruction. You need to trade in Equity to learn the two important tools in Trading. Patience and Discipline!
Equity feels like a mess tbh. I did invest in a couple of smallcaps. The ones i held onto are still in negative whereas the ones i sold off was at loss. Even the so called largecaps aren’t helping me make the most out of my money. I am just trying to recover my hard earned money via f&o but that doesnt seem to be working out. MF are good but the pace of making money seems to be a bit slow in it.
You did the same exact mistake I made 6 years ago. When I converted my initial 50K Investment to 5K in two weeks And giving up trading for the next 5 years. All I have to say Good Luck. You are going to need it.
PS Options and Futures are WMD of Trading.

Weapons of Mass Destruction. In Stock Market Options and Futures are called that name. In the sense that if not played right they Financially ruin You. Eg 2008 Recession.
