The way Nifty50 is in bull mood today in the same way Nifty Midcap50 is in bear mood today. Can anybody explain to me why this contrasting traits between Nifty50 & Nifty Midcap50?

Because Nifty 50 and Niftymidcap 50 contains different scrips.Sometimes each Index can be moved up or down by even couple of dominant(more weightage) scripts.
