Time decay and Directional Movement - Impact on Option Price

Is there any tipping point for every option beyond which it cannot let its price go down?

Today, I shorted Nifty 10300 put option in the morning. After an hour, Nifty started moving UP. SO, I thought the PUT option price would come down. Instead, the option price went UP.

Would like to know why the option price went UP instead of going down.

Please enlighten me.
