Hello,
I have several trading accounts with different brokers like Zerodha, RKSV & SAS Online. I use different accounts to execute different strategies of mine so that i can keep a track of how different strategies are performing.
Today i came across a weird trade which has never happened in 3 years of my trading experience.
I was using my account at RKSV securities and had executed a long cover order with Stop Loss @ 7902 [NIFTY15AUGFUT], suddenly i see that the stop loss order is executed for a price of 7901 (Trade Time - 10:58:12 AM).
However i see in all the 1 min charts (From RKSV, SAS & Zerodha Pi) that the lowest price between 10:31AM to 11:24AM was not below 7903.25. Then how did my sell stop loss order get executed at 7901?
When i called RKSV with the same question, their RMS team said that sometimes if the changes happen very suddenly its not recorded in any of the charts, its just a charting error!
My Question - Is the justification given by RKSV RMS team correct?
How often does things like this happen?
