Trading in intraday only. demat account not required.Right?

As far as my knowledge,Demat account is required only for holding stocks .

That means one can do intraday trading with trading account only. There is no need of demat account in intraday.

Actually i do only intraday trading so there is no use of demat account for me

so is there is any problem in intraday trading if i stop paying AMC of demat account from next time but continue with zerodha trading account.
please response
thank you

Exchange has made it mandatory for every trading to be mapped to demat account if any equity trading is happening. It is not required for F&O trading. So, you will need to have a demat mapped (either Zerodha or any other) to trade intraday equity, actually to even be able to add stocks onto your watchlist.

yes,i do only trading only in f&o only so i don’t need demat account…

Anyways one can do trading in MCX future without demat account. Right?

yes, not required.

But i am not able to do MCX future

May be it is not enabled in my account

so for enable MCX exchange for intraday only,i have to call customer care .Right?
