What happens when I short for 10000 quantities of a stock at LTP, but buyer refuses to buy not even one quantity at that price.!
Then the trade is not executed right?

No trade takes places! Some other Seller got lucky to find a buyer who bought from him at that LTP a while ago.

probably OP wants to know what will happen on EOD (MIS order that cannot exit). I am also curious on this?
CASE: If a person short for about say 30000 quantities as a cover order, (and thus the short order takes up all the 5 entries in the bid).
what will be the result of this? Will the price of the stock suddenly fall to the 5th bid entry price? since the last LTP executed is 5 bid price?
