Using an available fund in Coin to pledge in Zerodha

I can see the list of Cash-equivalant collaterals in Zerodha. A mutual fund listed in Coins qualifies as Cash Equivalent. Can I buy the fund in Coins and use that fund as collateral in Zerodha?

Zerodha Coin only deals with direct funds. So, while the approved list of cash equivalent collaterals also includes some regular funds. So it’s best to cross-check the fund name carefully before making a decision.

I can see both regular and direct. You should be able to pledge.
