i trade on 5 min. chart and i use 20 sma on volume chart. i wish to be alerted when volume in respective 5 mins candle gets above the 20sma on volume chart. i don’t know how to create this trigger.

Have you checked out Streak?
On Sentinel, you can create alerts only based on Price, Volume information. Streak allows you backtest and set alerts on technical indicators based on different types of indicators including moving averages.

You can easily create this in Streak. You need to use the below mentioned conditions.
Timetrame: 5min
Volume higher than Moving Average (20, Volume, Simple, 0)
