Dear Sir

My strategy for Volume is

  1. 1st i get 30 days Average Volume…

  2. I divide that 6.5 (apprx Mkt hours), again divide by 4 (to obtain 15 minutes Volume)

  3. if current 1st 15 min volume is 5 times of abv, then i prefer buying if other indicator permits, like wise i keep on checking every hour.

Can this be coded in Scanner…?

Hello Trader,

In tradescript you cannot compare higher timeframe data with a lower timeframe data.

In your case , volumes from 1DAY past candles cannot be compared to the 15MIN candles you are working on.

This is one limitation of tradescript.
