I understand how volume profile is calculated. However, where I am stuck is how the price points are determined. e.g. in Jindalstel two consecutive price points are separated by 10 paise, whereas for Julblfood it is around 60 paise.
I can understand that the price point difference is based on the underlying stock price. Hence greater the stock price, greater will be the price point difference. Question is, is there a mathematical formula governing this difference between two price points?
