Another follow up on this, can i have same stock one in buy and one is sell with bracket and normal orders? or If i place normal order, my position will be squared off?
buy and sell both orders must be of different type,
like if you have buy sbi in mis, sell mis in different format as bo or co or cnc
if both of same type, they will square off each other

Yes, Using Scanner which scan the stock which are making Day’s High and 52 week High.
And Which are making Day’s low & 52 week low.
So it makes it easy to select stock although I select Stocks which have Good Volumes.
Your experience and Instinct will let you know which stock to Short and from which to Stay away.
Like ACC was in Good Up move in Last 45 minutes but not good for shorting.

Yes! But timing is crucial in such short trades I believe Indeed it was risky in JetAirways
hi… i’m relatively new to day trading…
i’ve been reading this thread for a few days now and find it very informative and gives confidence that we have fellow traders whom we can exchange our trades and ideas… since i’m just starting new can you please share on which stocks do you input in your scanner. For example, there is no list of F&O stocks or midcap/small stocks.
