What if the broker stops paying the refferal income!

one of my friends earning around Rs.30k to 40k p.m. from the referral income from “upstox” .

Now due to some reason , his trading account is closed with “upstox” and thus “upstox” stopped paying him the referral income !!!

I want to ask :
what does the Rule say ? what does the ethics say ?
how can my that friend fight for the justice ?
it was his efforts of 3 to 5 years to get those customers on board and earn the referral money !

please enlighten us …

Better if you ask Upstox.

what is the policy of zerodha in this regard ?

I mean : if for any reason if you close the account of the client ; do that client keep receiving the referral money or you stop paying him his money ?
and if you stop paying him the referral money ; what is the reason ; as there is no fault of the client at all ?
