How can they close all banks what will happen to customers money?
Do they have chance to recover from it?
Greece has imposed capital control under which the flow of money is restricted. For example there is a daily ATM withdraw limit of only 60 Euros in Greece…ppl cannot pullout more than that. If there are no restrictions such as these then ppl will start withdrawing the money and park the same elsewhere or just horde cash. If all citizens start doing this then the liquidity will squeeze making the situation more difficult. Closing the banks is another way to control the flight of Euros from local banks.
Do they have a chance - we will get to know over the next few days, until then your guess is as good as mine
