What is quantity freeze in FnO?

Presently the quantity freeze for Nifty Futures is 7500 i.e. 100 lots.
My questions,

  1. Is this the max quantity which one can trade with, in a single order ?
  2. Is this the max quantity allowed to trade in a single trading day with multiple orders of total sum equal to 7500?
  3. Can I have multiple orders of 7500 quantity each live at the same time?

  1. This is the max quantity you can buy or sell in a single order.
  2. No
  3. Yes you can but you cannot exceed trade more than 5 percent of the open interest of that future.

this 5 % limit is for every trader individually or for all traders all together.

this is retail trader limit,
for CM it is about 4X
