What is the use of assigning lots in FNO markets?

@newguy Frankly speaking there is no logic in assigning lots in FNO markets. But when they assign 75 units for NF Or 40 for BNF Or 1000 for RIL (suppose)… then traders have to buy in bundle so that Service Providers like Exchanges, SEBI, Govt and Brokers (except discount brokers) make more money from traders.
