What to do with Daily Emails from exchange and broker

Hello there,

My inbox is full of the mandatory mails that are sent by the exchange for “trades executed” via “nse alerts” and the contract note that is sent by the broker.

How do you guys deal with the mails. How long should I keep them before deleting them.

Do let me know.

Thanks

I delete them as I don’t find those emails important. You can download all the required information from the broker app (for e.g. contract note)

By setting-up rules on incoming email to
automatically move such emails based on the sender and/or subject line
to appropriate folders/labels and not not let them clutter-up the inbox.

Probably keep them for a year or two,
and delete older ones each year (or whenever need to free-up space in one’s email client).

Note: Can export copies of important emails (eg. Contract Notes) for long-term offline archival before deleting them from the email account.
