What to see in Back Test Precent Profits or any thing else?

I am Back testing my stratagies on NIFTY It is showing results like number of profitable trades,Percent profit etc.Does it enough to check the percent profit and any thing else ?

There are many other things to check out. Some of the more important ones are:

  1. Maximum drawdown
  2. Biggest loss/ gain
  3. Maximum number of consecutive losses/ gains
  4. Risk/Reward Ratio
  5. Is the strategy more profitable on certain days of the week? certain months of the year?
  6. How often is the stop loss being hit? can you adjust the stop loss to make the strategy more profitable.
