What will happen if I buy a stock through Cover Order and then sell the same quantity through Cover Order(Not exiting or squaring-off the Cover Order through Order Book but taking opposite positions)?

If you’re trading at Zerodha, it will be considered as 2 different positions. The sell trade will not negate the buy trade.

The buying order is considered as a Long position and selling is considered as Short Position i.e. two different orders.

And Sir, what about MIS?

If you take opposite positions in MIS, it’ll close your positions.

And what about MIS?

If we placed one buy & one sell order (BOTH BRACKET OR COVER ORDER) of nifty future then is there any problem for both trades or they will treated two different. Because in Regular or Mis While placing second opposite order it will close first position na… please reply it for reconfirmation … Thanking You…
