Whats the point in daily buyback of shares by a company, if it can buyback all at once.
I was going through a pharma company website where i saw daily buyback reports.
Can someone explain me why it is daliy buying its shares.
Note: Its current promoter holding is 48.42%
@dextro1995, 2 types of buyback (1) Proportionate method direct from shareholders at a fixed price like you have live cases of Bosch ,HEG , Tata investmnets etc etc and (2) OPEN MARKET buyback from where the company prefers to buy share at a price as low as possible from bse/nse through a broker and live cases are Natco pharma ,selan explo,Orient cq ,Infosys etc.
