Its a big disappointment for me today that I thought Bracket orders would have been back as its nearly an year Zerodha blocked them due to Volatility issues… Now the issue has settled down but BO is not usable in Zerodha whereas other brokers like Upstox are providing it…
We have removed them permanently. Many times both target and sl are getting traded leaving open position without any counter order leading to more loss to client and broker. One bad day is enough to take big hit by broker and leaving other clients money at risk. So as of now we are not bringing it back.
Also as there is no leverage benefit going ahead and one can use any intraday product type( mis/co ) which offer same leverage unlike before where BO used to get additional leverage compared to mis.
One can use GTT which act same as BO without leverage and as said soon there will be no leverage for FO and only 5 times for eq, so there is a alternate option to BO.
