When will I get SGB certificate of holding?

In the RBI website, it says that the certificate of holding can be obtained by the issuing agent through email. I bought SBG July issue through Zerodha and I still haven’t received any certificate through email yet. When will I get it?

If you bought in secondary market there will no certificate as such one receives but for new issue one should get in email.

Thanks for your response. I bought it through Zerodha Gold portal and it was a new issue - 2020-21 Series IV - which was issued on July 14, 2020. I still haven’t received any certificate.

  • Will it come from RBI or Zerodha?
  • When will it normally be issued? (Like a month after issue?)

@siva, I have received an email as confirmation (but it does have a line that says allotment is subject to realization of funds), but it doesn’t look anything like this - https://rbidocs.rbi.org.in/rdocs/content/pdfs/HOLDC140115_FC.pdf

It says confirmation report, that’s it.
