Which mutual fund statement type is required to de-materialize mutual fund?

De-materializing mutual funds requires two self attested mutual fund statements to be sent along with the dematerialization forms.

Is the mutual fund statement same as Consolidated Account Statement that can be downloaded from CAMS? If yes then is the “Detailed” statement required or “Summary” statement required?

Hey, if the mutual funds are an ELSS then you’ll have to send a detailed statement, from inception.

For Non ELSS schemes, you can submit the summary statement, but the statement should have the holders details, MF folio number and ISIN.

You can either download the statement from the MF website or you can submit the CAS statement received from CAMS or the depository.
