Which one is riskier? Equity intraday or Futures n options?

I don’t have any exposure to futures and options.
Is it riskier than Equity intraday?
Why the broker requires an income proof? I mean obviously they won’t let us take a position if we don’t have the margin required.
How do I get a demat holding statement as a proof? I have NSDL demat with another broker.

Everything is riskier in stock market until you don’t have proper Techniques such as:

  1. Position sizing
  2. Risk to reward Management

Cheers :beers:

Why the exchange requires an income proof is explained here.

@mac76, don’t you have an F&O account yet?

Nope. I didn’t enable FnO while opening an a/c.
Do you know how can I get demat holding statement from nsdl(another broker)?

You can ask the broker for it.

I have demat statement downloaded from NSDL website. Will it be okay?

Yes, holding statement will work as an income proof to trade F&O. Read more here.

Download, print, sign and courier the segment addition form(select F&O) along with a self-attested copy of your Holding statement to Zerodha Head Office address.

You can find the segment addition form on the Resources page > Other forms > Segment addition.

Zerodha Head Office address -
#153/154 4th Cross Dollars Colony,
Opp. Clarence Public School,
J.P Nagar 4th Phase,

None of them are risky or riskier compared to the original sin.

i.e opening a trading account.

Stock market is not a place for those who want to play safe.

How to filter only derivatives stocks using https://in.tradingview.com/screener/

I dont know if your are talking about blowing up accounts four times. If that is the case, then it is NOT funny.

I have a resolve in my mind that if i blow up once, i will never ever trade.

No
I haven’t blown up my account even single time
