Which site you refer for the latest market events ( ex. RBI policy review, Company results, Upcoming results, world events etc)

The price incorporate all real world events. But it would good to know for which event price is reacting to probably to predict such movement in the future. So fellow traders which site(s) do you refer to get the latest (real time or near real time)event updates.Do you maintain a events calendar?

Would it be a nice idea to have a community driven public calendar which gets updated with all policy events/results which might impact the indian market.

Hi Mystique…

This is quite fragmented in India and you have to refer different sites for different information…

For Monetary Policy - http://www.rbi.org.in/home.aspx - click on the table on right hand top

For Inflation and IIP numbers - http://mospi.nic.in/Mospi_New/site/home.aspx - look on the right hand side

For FII Inflows - http://www.sebi.gov.in/sebiweb/investment/FIITrends.jsp

For corporate earnings - http://www.moneycontrol.com/earnings/

For International economic events - http://www.bloomberg.com/markets/economic-calendar/ - very well organised.

Trading is speculative and the market events are there to add noise so that you can place your bets.

Charting, Indicators, events, are only the tools to forecast the market for your wishful thinking.

In the end its the broker who is making money and not you.
