1 to 2 mil, as it varies based on volatility.

almost 36 apps to trade in the market, I think zerodha even charge for trading API around 2000rs. 18th number broker is providing that for free.
but my post was not about comparing the broker product, I just wanted to know about risk involved.
Axis Direct is in right direction. They launch Axis Direct RING app and desktop version.
still have to do lots of improvements to compete Zerodha Kite.
Do you have any plans to launch Kite Desktop Version ?
As I am aware many other brokers offer free APIs and we are only one who charges for API that doesn’t necessarily mean everyone’s tech is same. Said that, I mentioned above what other points one can look into while choosing broker.
No plans as we feel there is no need to have desktop application with availability of current web technologies, earlier these were not available.

I am really interested to see April and May month changes. Given advertisement spending of some of the brokers in IPL and all.

No data for grows app?
So advertising has helped upstox get more users recently(more than Zerodha), but not by that much.

Yes, first time Upstox has been able to add more clients than Zerodha.

maybe due to open interest problem in options at zerodha , is leading to this !
Does anyone know the average account value of a zerodha customer or the account value of the biggest 1% accounts of zerodha?
In addition to the number of clients what also matter is the account size

It’s ‘ZERODHA BROKING LIMITED’. It has 18.85% market shares and 33,91,059 active clients.
Zerodha, Upstox, Angel and Groww alone adding 6.6 lac customers per month. Will this not directly benefit cdsl and that at the ad expense of these brokers?
It is already benefitting it. See CDSL’s balance sheet. Profit doubled from 100cr to 200 cr in tha last FY. And look at the share price. From 220 to 880 in the last 1 year.
