Why does NSE not give international features such as GTC, etc? Why does it NOT want to be on par with international standards?

Good question. I guess the think tank at NSE is focused on creating Investor awareness than bringing in international features.

While creating Investor awareness is a good thing, but the features you mentioned are the need of the hour.

Some brokers like ICICIdirect give this feature indirectly to their clients since NSE has not given so far.

They place orders everyday morning for the Good Till Date types until the dates expire.

Almost the functionality of GTD/GTC is captured but with new timestamps everyday.

Something is better than nothing :slight_smile: Lets hope zerodha puts this in their long list of things to do!
