Why is PAYTM blocked for MIS today?
Every week Monday evening fresh list of MIS will be updated based on the previous week’s volatility and trade value.
If any scrip is too volatile there is a chance it may hit the circuit and lead to short delivery if it was an upper circuit or shares will be delivered to the Demat account without having sufficient balance in case of a lower circuit.
Based on last week’s market activity PAYTM didn’t allow for MIS this week. It may be allowed in MIS next week if the volatility subsides.
