why sensex is not in f&o like how nifty and banknifty is available

There are F&O contracts on Sensex, but those are hardly traded, you can check it out yourself here.

BSE F&O aren’t currently available.

In 2008-09 I remember sensex future was trading .It was having a lot size of 15 and it was not too liquid but better than nifty IT as far as liquidity was concerned. Gradually Bid Ask difference grew substantially and voloume kept on shrinking.
