Will Zerodha be forced to ZERO BROKERAGE model in near future?
On the contrary, these companies who are providing zero brokerage will levy some sort of platform fee or other such fixed monthly charges once they feel that they’ve got enough customers.
I feel this Everything Free model is just a customer acquisition tool and unsustainable in the long run. Yes, they can still make money through volume incentive by exchange or through cross selling but I don’t think that will be enough.
