You can't now use the proceeds from selling shares for 2 days

I bought some stock yesterday and I want to sell it today.

When I click Exit from the Holdings section Nudge alerts about BTST margin warning, but at the bottom of the sell window Margin Required says 0.00

So who should I trust Nudge or the Margin Required at the bottom ? Thanks

You don’t need any margin to sell stocks from your holdings. However, for some stocks, the exchange blocks additional margin. So if you are doing BTST trades in such stocks, there can be a margin penalty. Please check out this support article, this explains the scenarios in which this can happen in detail:
