Can’t confirm if it is true but I came across a tweet which mentioned that one needs to refer 50 customers first before likely being considered for AP -

This old thread also has some more information about the AP/partner program. For more details about Commissions/T&C, you will likely have to send a mail to the email address mentioned at the end of that thread
