Suppose i have bought 100 shares as CNC order and have holded it for two days. Now i want to book 50% of the profits and feel that i want to sell 50 shares at current mkt price and so i place sell mkt order with quantity as 50 shares. But when i do so in zerodha, why is that it creates a seperate sell position in the “positions” tab and showing a P/L loss there??.
The position tab reflects the position for the day. Dont worry about it if you are selling from CNC. End of the day, the shares are flushed out from your DEMAT.
