Order limit is 200/min Why is the error "Maximum allowed order requests exceeded" displayed?
Interesting. But I had roughly 240 open orders, it took me 3 minutes to cancel all of them. Because of rate limit issues.
Also, I believe order limits can be modified by contacting Zerodha RMS.
No, use. zerodha customer support hasnāt been great tbh. Anyways, Iāve completely stopped trading on zerodha today onwards. Growws 915.trade seems fine.
We will be changing it from current 200 orders per minute to 400 from next Friday. Even order slice will do 50 legs per order.
Thanks. Had faced significant slippages in the recent times.
@nithin Can you please clarify why the platform has gotten worse? Earlier wasnāt getting any rate limit error, now the backend throws too many requests for any iceberg order of 20 legs. Also, why team spends more than 3 months to solve customer pain points? Also the 20 legs execution takes more than 4 seconds. Thatās completely weird, unless there is a sleep in between two consecutive order send to the exchange. Is this to avoid crossing exchange rate limits?
While on groww I donāt experience any of these issues.
As I mentioned earlier rate limits are always there and we will increase it in a week or two.
Is this enabled now? Its been two weeks already IG.
Yes, 50 legs now for slicing and iceberg, 400 orders per minute.
The platform is still throwing too many requests errors for iceberg orders.
You mention that iceberg slicing up to 50 legs is enabled, and I can see that orders do go through for 12ā15 legs, but the backend then starts returning rate-limit errors.
Could you please clarify why this happens well below the stated limit? Itās quite frustrating when placing orders and makes iceberg execution unreliable in practice.
This should not happen unless 400 orders limit per sec is breached, next time when you face this can you note time and message me along with your id?
Got too many requests error today as well. Iāve sent you a message. Please check.
Getting it checked.
Why is iceberg orders taking more than 10 seconds to execute. Noticed that today, between two leg orders I see a time difference of more than 500-600 millis. Is this something you guys handled on the OMS side to avoid breaching exchange rate limits/something wrong with your platform. While on groww I donāt see any such problems. @siva @nithin for you to check.
Can you DM me time or order ID when this happened?
