Automatic Funds Management at Zerodha

Dear @nithin & team,

I would like to regularly buy equities, mutual funds, and liquid/debt instruments in a certain ratio suiting my risk appetite (eg 60, 30, 10 %).

Is there already an option to automatically transfer funds from my bank account to my Zerodha funds account at a predefined frequency (say monthly) and automate this procedure in Kite & Coin?

Also, at times if funds in my Zerodha account are insufficient for buying the SIPs, I would like to liquidate my debt instruments automatically for the required amount and successfully buy the required units?

Is it already possible or are you planning to bring in these features in the near future?

We are working on this. But, in the meanwhile, you can set up a “Standing Instruction” to automate fund trnasfers from your bank account to your trading account

Can I schedule transfers directly from my bank to Coin MF platform for SIPs?

You can use a feature called a standing instruction wherein you can schedule a transfer from your bank account to your Zerodha trading account on a fixed date. This feature is available in all major banks and is pretty easy to setup. You can schedule transfers NEFT or RTGS on a fixed date every month. You can then setup the SIPs in Coin based on that.
