Should I just cancel the bank mandate or will doing so involve penalties? Whats the proper way of doing this?

currently investing in 4 different sip’s where funds get deducted from bank account every month. They were started through an agent.
Delete the bank mandate and contact Karvy/Cams and submit a SIP cancellation form.
