The week starting September 7 has 16 IPOs, including 11 mainboard issues, seeking to raise more than ₹7,100 crore.
Six mainboard IPOs are scheduled to open on September 9 alone. That’s a lot of fresh equity supply competing for the same pool of investor capital.
One thing to find out is: Will this be ₹7,100 crore of fresh money entering the market, or ₹7,100 crore being pulled out of existing stocks and redirected into IPOs?
