What we do
Every week we read every major Indian earnings call so you don’t have to . From Reliance to small‑cap logistics plays, we sift through hours of management Q&A and surface the handful of remarks that can actually move share prices—or change the way you read the macro tape.
Why it matters
“Show me the quote, not the 40‑page deck.”
— Every portfolio manager ever
Indian companies are uniquely chatty. Buried in those calls are early tells on pricing power, cap‑ex pivots, tariff hits, RBI liquidity twists, monsoon nerves, or the sudden freight spike you’ll see in tomorrow’s P&L. Catching those signals first is an edge—missing them is costly.
How it works
- Full‑coverage transcript crawl
- We pull raw transcripts straight from exchange filings and company investor‑relations sites.
- Materiality filter
- Quotes must plausibly move a price, widen a spread, or rewrite a sector narrative. Fluff, jargon and CEO karaoke get binned.
- Context + cleanup
- Each excerpt includes the lines immediately before and after, lightly scrubbed for grammar and filler so you can read in one swipe.
Who we are
The Chatter is produced by the same team behind The Daily Brief , After Markets Report , Who Said What , and Investing in India . You can also find us on YouTube – Markets by Zerodha .
Our promise
- Signal over noise – If it won’t tweak a DCF or macro view, it’s out.
- Radical transparency – Verbatim quotes with timestamps so you can double‑check the tape.
