If i do not transect or hold any stock or security then in that year or quater
still i have to pay demat account maintenance charge (AMC) or not?
There are no AMC charges if your holdings are less than 50,000. In this case your Demat account is considered Basic Services Demat Account (BSDA), but you need to have only one Demat account in your name, if you have one with Zerodha and another with some other broker then you won’t be eligible for BSDA.
