Active hours in Commodities

Hello seniors,

When i opened the hourly chart of Crude oil futures, Candle ranges in the evening session, ie. after 5 P.M are very high when compared to that of the morning session candles. Does that mean, markets are more active in the evening session and it is better to trade only evening session if i am an intraday trader??

I did feel the same that Volatility and Volumes increase in the evenings, maybe its because people trade NSE - BSEĀ till 3.30 once they done they start getting active on MCX and NCDEX, ForeignĀ markets timing's, Inventories and reports etc come in the evenings'..
