Hi i use this often nowdays to chk margin on my open positions in a particular stock/index cause its fast and i can reduce or increase lots to immediately see affect on margin for that position.
Is it possible to include multiple contracts at one go in this? like i can select multiple open positions and add them at once.
Possible to include the open qty also of my position? and direction (long/short). right now have to add to basket, select correct direction long or short, then enter qty for each strike.
would be great if these 2 things are possible. you can call it position margin analysis tool or something if u want to create a new feature out of it. would be really helpful
any chance this can be added to next few months roadmap of upgrades to be rolled out.
Should be a simple change, when clicking on add to basket, it can add with direction(long/short) and open qty.
@siva and others at Zerodha i know you guys dont give timeline as it put pressure on team (as per previous posts) at least keep some timelines for yourself internally.
I dont know why even small features take years to implement at zerodha
Pnl exit is not a small feature, next release will be terminal mode, after that it will be trailing sl and then pnl based exits, this adding multiple positions to basket will be part of pnl based exits.
Hey im asking about adding to basket from open positions.
Currently only use case for select button is exit. Adding multiple positions to basket from open position is pain. How is it linked to p&l based exit? Is it not possible to give option to add multiple positions to basket?
