Yes, you can. I did the same. But they have some problem with their portal which means that I have to wait for their welcome kit to be delivered. I would advise you to not open a new account as the kit may be delayed and you will probably not be able to make the payment in time.
Update: I was able to activate my debit card but still not able to login to netbanking without which I cannot apply for ASBA.

I made payment via Physical ASBA at Kotak Mahindra Bank.
I got mail from Bank Alerts with âASBA Application Accepted Successfullyâ.
The only doubt I have is that Company Name mentioned is âAditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltdâ , is it the correct one or it should be something like âAditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltdâ + ( âFirst Payment Callâ or âPartly paid up sharesâ. I mean what I suspect is that whether Bank has submitted ASBA against correct one or not that means payment of First Call only or not ?

They told within 24 hrs NetBanking can be used.Did they provide any timeline to you for accessing NetBanking

I was not provided any timeline. I hope mine gets activated in 24hrs as well.

My netbanking was activated as well. But my balance is still 0.
If you are having an issue with the NETSECURE. I downloaded the mobile app and registered on it. Then use that mpin you set on mobile app to login to netbanking on the website. When logging in using mpin the next step was to setup NETSECURE and then it was activated. I guess there are other easier options to activate NETSECURE though.
After this Iâm able to apply for the payment.
Any guys with an account in SBI how did you manage to pay?
I hold an SBI Account associated with the Demat, and havenât been able to pay until now. I emailed LinkInTime for the same and got the same canned response. I also have an HDFC account, and can see that the online ASBA is not available in HDFC as well.
Is there any way we can complain against ABFRL to SEBI? This looks like an elaborate scheme by the company to gobble up the part payment we had paid earlier because they are purposefully excluding the largest banks in the country, and I refuse to believe that they are unaware of the issue. Still, they have chosen to stay silent on the issue.
People with SBI Account do it via physical ASBA just fill the form and go to the nearest branch.
All SBI Branches here in Chandigarh are not only refusing to accept the physical ASBA form, but also denying the existence of any such facility.

I managed to apply through ICICI net banking. Will the money be deducted immediately or later?

Contact the SBI customer care regarding this because SBI is an authorized SCSB and they cannot deny us physical ASBA just because online ASBA exist. Donât listen to them that you can apply it online, they will try to make you run here and there, you can apply for physical ASBA from any branch of SBI not necessarily it being the home branch. People working at SBI are not aware with working of physical ASBA hence they are running away from the responsibility, try talking to the CGM also he may be able help you out.
I think we canât make payment in all sbi branchesâŚthere are some specific list is thereâŚwe need to go there and make paymentâŚIn that list none of the banks are listed in my districtâŚwith no other option left I have opened a new Axis bank account just for making the payment

Yes any of the listed SBI branch in your city. Inspite the branch being listed they were unaware about how to proceed with physical ASBA.
