Admin Position vs. Stock Holding functionality in PI terminal

Can someone briefly explain difference between “Admin Position” and “Stock Holding” functionality?

Also respond to my below list of queries:

  1. “Admin Position” functionality displays all the positions taken on that day regardless of whether it is CNC, or NRML, or MIS, but not yesterday’s and day before yesterday’s position?
  2. “Stock Holding” functionality display only stocks taken as CNC (delivery based) yesterday, and nothing else?
  3. If I had taken F&O/Currency/Commodity as NRML position yesterday (e.g. on Monday), then where does they get listed on next day (Tuesday), whether in “Admin Position” or in “Stock Holding” or both as we will be holding the contract till expiry?
  4. If I had bought a stock as CNC yesterday (Monday) then it will be displayed only in “Stock Holding” functionality or they will be listed in “Admin Position” functionality as well on Tuesday, until that stock is delivered into my Demat account on T+2 days?

What ever you buy today is shown in admin position.

Stock Holding only shows equities bought yesterday and before.

If you buy Future and options today they will be shown in admin position.

What about F&O bought yesterday (carry forwarded) where they will be shown?
