I have 20000/- rupees worth of Andhra Bank shares in physical form how can i en cash them could any one help me to suggest the procedure
Andhra bank has been merged with Union Bank of India.
The Share Exchange Ratio is as below.
“325 equity shares of the face value of Rs.10 each fully paid up in Union Bank of India for every 1,000 equity shares of the face value of Rs.10 each fully paid up held in the Andhra Bank as on the record date.”
Record Date is March 23, 2020, & allotment Date is April 1, 2020.
You are holding physical shares, which are needs to covert to demat.

few years back i have converted a physical share certificate, by contacting registrar, they told me to send physical share certificate & request letter to issue new shares as the client got huge bonus shares on that. after that i sent it again with sign & other details like PAN, demat details & other to registrar, then they had credited to my client’s demat a/c.
