They say allotments are fairly done, but of course we know there are different ways to arrive First in this unbiased waiting list.

Do you know some of these hacks that we can use when applying for an IPO ?

Like applying from
a) specific banks or brokerage houses.
b) applying on the very first day or last day.
c) applying with specific bids or choosing cut off.
etc etc.

Please share.

Except for applying at the upper price cut off, there are no other hacks.

  1. Open your family and friends demat account

  2. Apply IPO through ASBA online you can apply 5 (or even more depending upon banks) application through same bank account

E.g If ipo get oversubscribed by 5 times and allotment ratio is 5:1 there is a chances of getting 1 lot from this 5 application

  1. Another method will apply if ipo register is linkintime download blink linkintime app on your Android and register it and there is option of adding investor add all family and friends dp details maximum u can add 10 application .

Useful input, Thank You

you can visit NSE and BSE site (in IPO Section) to get the bid vs reserved against each investor category.

Can we apply for IPO wherein we are allotted shares at any price, not necessarily the upper price cut off? For example, if price range is 251.25-256.25, instead of choosing any fixed price or upper cutoff, i tell NSE to allot me at final highest value?
