Kite MCP - worth spending time, trying it out ?
Anyone using it more than a year ?
It’s been almost a year since I started using Kite MCP, and I can say it’s been pretty impressive. I regularly use it for portfolio analysis and order execution. It lets me fetch holdings, margins, positions, quotes, order history, and manage orders etc all without opening Kite. The best part is that I can run custom analyses on top of this data, making my workflow much more efficient all this without knowing coding and all those stuffs

Kite MCP and Kite Connect API serve different use cases. MCP is great for ad-hoc analysis through an AI assistant — no coding needed, very convenient. For fully automated systematic trading running 24/7 without manual intervention, Kite Connect API gives you more control. I use it for an options algo — the WebSocket tick feed is solid once you get past the auth flow.
