why is zerodha not integrating any type of API Bridge like algobaba or algoji? all other discount brokers are doing it nowadays.
is that legal or illegal or it’s within some dark grey area stuff.
It is not legal yet, it is grey area ,algos are not allowed for retail without approvals as I know. Others maybe doing just to earn more revenue in short term as per my understanding.

you may be right but any broker other than zerodha that you pick up as a discount broker is giving API bridge. Do you mean to say that all those brokers are doing it illegally? even number 2-3-4 broker is providing that.

Yes, I can say that if others are really giving that way from my understanding of rules. If orders are getting traded with out human intervention then it comes under also and is not allowed for all retail.
If allowed then we could have enabled for streak itself.

illegal stuff is getting flaunted on each website of this brokers and youtube videos and no one is taking any action from the exchange side and even Sebi is sleeping on this. God only knows whats is going on.
Can check this below post on illegal binary options by Nithin which is being advertised by crickets also, youtube is flushed with it and many small guys are falling in it’s trap and hope regulators will act on this first.

what are you comparing man… everyone knows CFD and binary options are illegal and no discount broker is providing it.
here we are discussing something which is been provided by other discount broker and not by zerodha.
so I was just curious that is zerodha getting behind in the race of innovation or all other discount brokers are doing crime and Sebi is not doing anything in that matter.
Hey, I am replying to your query for why regulators are not acting on algos etc where still much bigger issue of cfd is still not addressed.
It is not crime, it is a grey area, till we get clear answer that it is okay to provide algos for retailers we won’t offer, also other broker may have their own understanding about regulations. I am just letting you know our understanding.
